Fellow Classmates: It has been quite a while since seeing or hearing from a number of you. I have just finished my seventh year of retirement and both my wife and I enjoy the opportunity of being together with our children and grandchildren after retiring from education. We live in Hammond,Louisiana and enjoy our time fishing at Lake Pontchartrain, staying at our camp on the Tangipahoa River and hunting and fishing in our area. Like many of you, we all faced challenges when we left North Miami. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to be part of a great class and great individuals. From athletics to the classroom, our class was special in that we were focused and excelled in our endeavors. We were true "Pioneers". For those of us who attended schools of higher education after high school we faced new obstacles.
